Things to do in Nashville TN

The city of Nashville offers visitors and locals alike a plethora of activities daily. From awesome parks, beautiful views, spectacular restaurants and amazing live music venues, it is difficult to make a poor decision on where to go.   • Honkytonks on Lower Broadway (Tootsies/Roberts Western Wear/etc.)

  • The Station Inn - our premier bluegrass club- check out Doyle & Debbie Tuesday nights at 7 for a fabulous country comedy show

  • The Bluebird Cafe- A place I have played many many times. Still my favorite but really hard to get into - singer/songwriter venue
  • The Listening Room Cafe- great alternative to The Bluebird. Much easier to reserve ahead of time- singer/songwriter venue

  • The Carter House and The Carnton Plantation and confederate Cemetery- These civil war tours in Franklin TN  are my favorite Nashville tours. They will bring tears to your eyes
  • The GreenBriar Distillery
  • The Hermitage ( Andrew Jacksons Home)
  • Backstage at The Opry
  • The Ryman
  • The Country Music Hall Of Fame
  • The Johnny Cash Museum
  • The Patsy Cline Museum
  • The Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center- This hotel is all rainforest!  It is 3 wings and there’s a river that runs through the Delta wing. Absolutely incredible. Check it out in December for the Christmas decoration and Christmas shows as well!
  • The Parthenon- Who needs to go to Greece? Check out our Parthenon. It is to scale and has a 42 foot free standing statue of Athena as well as a museum inside

  • Shelby Bottoms - great for bird watching
  • Percy Warner- my favorite park to walk in and right next to Cheekwood and The Belle Meade Mansion
  • Radnor Lake
  • The Nashville Zoo
